This Woodhill family was building their dream home with one core goal: to power it entirely with clean, sustainable energy. We designed a massive 29kW solar installation using 475-watt panels to ensure peak performance even on cloudy days, paired with a 15kW Sungrow three-phase hybrid inverter and a substantial 40kWh battery for total energy independence.

The Sungrow hybrid inverter handles both on-grid and backup modes, seamlessly switching during a power outage. This commercial-grade residential system generates more than enough power to cover the family's daily usage, charge the batteries, and export surplus back to the grid. The 40kWh battery allows the family to avoid expensive peak-rate electricity and keeps the home running through extended blackouts.
